The portions were significantly larger 1-2 years ago. It's a shame, actually.

Good schnitzel! The food was very good, the salad dressing also very tasty. The portions have gotten a bit smaller (last time last year), price / performance ratio was very good, I personally don't like the location itself that much.

A quaint economy with nice and permanent staff. The menu is extensive. Based on a tip from our apartment landlord, we went to the Ösi to eat. Super tasty, the salad fresh and crunchy, the schnitzel of considerable size and all for a good price. Keep it up, we'll be back!

09/06/20. We have reserved for 5 p.m. to 6. It was supposedly open from 4.30 p.m. Standing in front of a locked door. 5 before 5 p.m. someone opened the door. A stout woman with black hair looked annoyed at us and said annoyed "You have to wait 5 minutes" and closed the door. Then left. 0 stars.

Very cozy. Price and quantity of the food perfectly okay. Tastes delicious. Super cook. Very friendly staff ;-) Looking forward to seeing you again!

Fortunately we had something for lunch, otherwise we would have starved to death, with almost 2 hours waiting for 4 burgers. No apology nothing, just a bad excuse.

The drinks came after 20 minutes - in dirty glasses! The meal was a little later, we waited about 90 minutes! The eternal waiting time may also be due to the fact that you only see the boss sitting (around) while Kai, the waiter / cook / barkeeper runs his legs out of his body and is a one-man show. To be fair, it should be said on a positive note that the food tastes really delicious when it is served ...

The food was delicious and everything went well. Unfortunately there is no possibility to wait for the preparation there. Gladly again!

Neighborhood restaurant away from the tourist center, you'll only see local locals inside .. Pleasant surroundings, nice menu and at relatively good prices (half a liter of beer 3.5 euros, schnitzels 11-12 euros accompanied by potatoes and individual salad). There is no English menu and the owner speaks very spoken English, so anyone who does not know German will find it difficult .. Huge portions, we are left choked .. Recommended if you want to get away from tourist traps and try something more local.

Large selection of chips and burgers at a good price-quality ratio and good quality. I had hoped the name only more Austrian specialties. The boss throws the store alone, what to see to recognize hustle and bustle. Ambience easy. Seating outside on benches by the road.

The restaurant is rather rustic and not very modern - which does not make it uncomfortable! It simply reflects the owner again and who goes here for dinner, the good Ösi also know - whether because of the restaurant or because it was heard by him. The menu offers many options, but I still find the schnitzel the best. The portions are generous (even half a portion was too much for me) and delicious. This is definitely not a hassle. As a rule, everything, be it a card, drinks or food, comes quickly to the table - unless the good Ösi himself is not in the house. Then two (!) People have to replace it, but they do not get it in their speed. We have been here many times and will eat here in the future.

I love it here. The boss is kind, laughable and good. I ate Schninze, but it's like Korean pork cutlets and delicious. If you visit Bamberg again, This restaurant is willing to visit again.

The food was great, but be sure to bring a lot of free time with you. Waited 45 min to get our beverages and an hour between refills.
